MADINAH – Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Sudais, General President of the Prophets Mosque, inaugurated the automatic sterilization robot and the Biocare devices in the women’s section of the mosque.
It has been designed specifically for hospital and clinical environments to disinfect ambient air and the subject’s surface via an automated robot, with ultra-violet (UVC) light, hydrogen peroxide, and filtering, which are used to disinfect the subject surface and the environment.
Masjid an-Nabawi (Prophet’s Mosque) currently uses disinfection robots that combine automated and semi-automated processes. Although they can clean and disinfect floors and surfaces, they are increasingly focusing on the disinfection of rooms equipped with increasingly sophisticated distribution systems.
Utilizing UV light, 360° disinfection spray heads, and 0.3-meter air filters, the robot, which moves autonomously, can sterilize up to 99.99% of bacteria and viruses in the air and on surfaces.
