As reported by the Saudi Gazette, as the month of Ramadan approaches, the Tawakkalna app will start opening the door for people to book a time to perform Umrah during the holy month.
This is undoubtedly good news for those of you who want to optimize the sacred month of Ramadan by carrying out worship.
Prospective pilgrims who want to perform Umrah during the month of Ramadan can book Ramadhan Umrah reservations through the new icon provided by the application, which is the “Manasik Gate” icon.
This application provides the times for performing Umrah, which includes 12 times throughout the day and night with two hours to perform the entire ritual. It is allowing the citizens and residents to choose the time appropriate for them.
However, as the apps that allowed people to book a time to perform Umrah at their own pace, it is expected that Fridays during the month of Ramadhan will witness high reservations, while the rest of the days do not witness much crowding.
Earlier on February 9, the Saudi Arabian government announced that regardless of vaccination status, Saudi citizens and foreign nationals traveling to the Kingdom must present proof of a negative COVID-19 result from an approved PCR or rapid antigen test taken within 48 hours of departure.
Children under the age of 8 are exempt but still have to comply with any regulations imposed by the country of departure regarding the COVID-19 testing procedure.
On the other hand, those who test positive for COVID-19 but are fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved by authorities in the Kingdom can enter Saudi after seven days from the date of testing positive without the need for another test.
And those who have not completed a fully approved dose of vaccine can enter the Kingdom after ten days from the positive test date.
