List Of Swedish Products Muslims Boycotting After Quran Burning

STOCKHOLM (SWEDEN) – In response to a right-wing activist burning a Quran, the Islamic holy book, in the capital of Sweden, Muslims throughout the world have begun to boycott Swedish brands.

This has caused a huge uproar among Muslim Swedes, who are now refusing to purchase Swedish products.

An activist from the far-right burnt a Quran on January 24. In the Swedish capital, the activist was part of a group of anti-Islamic protesters who were protesting the country’s current immigration policies.

The activist publicly burned a copy of the Quran during the protest. There have been widespread condemnations and calls for action following this act of desecration in Sweden’s Muslim community.

Swedish products have been boycotted by many Muslims in protest. The boycott includes clothing, food, and technology companies as well as large-scale and small-scale Swedish businesses.

List of Swedish Brands To Boycott

This boycott includes well-known Swedish brands such as;

  • IKEA
  • H&M
  • Volvo
  • Ericsson
  • Electrolux
  • Skanska
  • Sandvik
  • Scania
  • Atlas Copco
  • Husqvarna
  • Saab
  • Orrefors
  • Kosta Boda
  • Rörstrand
  • Gant
  • Acne Studios
  • Cheap Monday
  • Nudie Jeans
  • Fjällräven
  • Happy Socks
  • Tretorn
  • Björn Borg
  • Swedish Hasbeens
  • WeSC
  • Tiger of Sweden
  • C/O Gerd
  • Peak Performance
  • Our Legacy
  • Hope

Through social media platforms, this boycott is being organized and promoted.

Sweden has backed the Quran burning incident. As long as the government does not respect Muslims’ religion and beliefs, the boycott of Swedish products will likely continue, at least for the near future. Sweden’s economy is likely to be affected by this boycott, as many Swedish brands could lose sales.

Sweden’s Muslim community and the government have been at odds for some time, as evidenced by the boycott of Swedish products.

Demonstrations of discontentment with existing immigration laws have been increasing, and the government must decide how to answer the requests of the Muslim community and if the boycott will be terminated soon.
