WASHINGTON: Ali Zaidi has been appointed National Climate Advisor in the Biden-Harris Administration at the White House.

   

It was announced on the Biden-Harris Transition website. Where a Muslim has been announced an advisor for climate change for the United States of America.

Ali is the highest ranking official at the white house under Biden government so far.

Right after the announcement Ali A. Zaidi took to twitter to share his views about the climate change and creating jobs and advancing with the new plans for the climate.

He added that he is humbled and ready to work!

Ali Zaidi was born in Pakistan then shifted to Erie Pennsylvania. He has an AB degree from Harvard University and also obtained JD from Georgetown University.

Before this, he was serving as Deputy Secretary to the Governor for Energy and Environment and Chairman of Climate Policy and Finance at the State of New York.

Ali is also an adjunct professor at Stanford University, teaching students about Technology policy and Financial and Fiscal impacts on climate. He also co-founded Lawyers for a Sustainable Economy, an initiative that helps sustainability-focused startups with legal services.
