The US, Canada and UK To Start Ramadan 2019 From Monday, 6th May

US, Canada, and the United Kingdom to fast from Monday, 6th of May 2019 alongside Saudi Arabia to mark the first day of Ramadan.

The Ramadan moon has not been sighted in the US, Canada, and the UK nor in Europe, The authorities have confirmed.

The month of Ramadan is sacred for the Muslim community because it is the month when the Quran was revealed. In Canada, where a huge amount of Muslim population lives announced that they will be fasting from Monday.

In Australia, as well as Mosques in New Zealand also announced Monday as the start of Ramadan for them.

Eid ul Adha and Eid Ul Fitr are both important festivals for Muslims around the world.
