US, Canada, and the United Kingdom to fast from Friday, 24th of April 2020 alongside Saudi Arabia to mark the first day of Ramadan.
The Ramadan moon has been sighted in the US, Canada, and the UK as well as in Europe, The authorities have confirmed.
The month of Ramadan is sacred for the Muslim community because it is the month when the Quran was revealed. In Canada, where a huge amount of Muslim population lives announced that they will be fasting from Monday.
In Australia, as well as Mosques in New Zealand also announced Monday as the start of Ramadan for them.
