First Hajj 2024 Baby Has Born In Makkah

A 30-year-old Nigerian pilgrim gave birth to a baby boy named Mohammed at the Maternity and Children’s Hospital in Makkah, under the care of the Makkah Health Cluster. This marks the first birth of a pilgrim during the ongoing Hajj season.

The Makkah Health Cluster said that the pregnant pilgrim, 31 weeks along, was admitted to the emergency department due to labor pains.

Emergency doctors quickly attended to her and moved her to the maternity ward, where she had a natural delivery. Both mother and baby are in good health, although the premature newborn is getting special care.

The Maternity and Children’s Hospital is fully operational and provides top-tier services to Hajj pilgrims, focusing on handling emergency cases. The hospital is known for its high standards in maternal, neonatal, and pediatric care. Every Hajj season, they handle several childbirth cases, offering careful and dedicated attention.

The Nigerian pilgrim thanked the medical staff profusely and was immensely appreciative of their exceptional care and support for herself and her baby.
