Asalam alykum warahmatullah wabarakatu’u,
My question is basically on Tahneek.

The process of chewing Date or putting Honey in the mouth of Baby, which was stated that it can be done by the Elderly person or by Alim, does that mean the father of the baby can not do it in the absence of these people?
