The King Abdul Aziz Gate, one of the most important entrances to Masjid Al Haram in Mecca, has officially opened to the public.
Named after King Abdul Aziz Al Saud, the founder of modern Saudi Arabia, the gate features state-of-the-art design elements blending traditional Islamic architecture with cutting-edge technology.

Its strategic location and multiple entry points are expected to ease congestion around the Grand Mosque, particularly during peak seasons like Ramadan and Hajj.
It is also the largest gate in the world.
Expanded zones to accommodate thousands of worshipers. Intricate Islamic calligraphy and motifs honoring Saudi Arabia’s history.
Last year, the Grand Mosque welcomed over 20 million visitors, a number expected to rise with the new gate’s capacity and accessibility.
