Eid 2020 Prayers Suspended

Saudi Grand Mufti has announced a heart breaking news that Eid 2020 prayers suspended and urges people to pray Eid salah at their homes along with Taraweeh.

   

Sheikh Abdulaziz al-Sheikh, Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, who is the highest religious authority in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has said that Taraweeh and Iftar service will remain suspended during Ramadan 2020. As well as, Eid 2020 prayers will be suspended as well and people should pray Taraweeh and Eid salah at their homes.

According to a report from Okaz newspaper, all the Eid ul Fitr feat will be performed at home if COVID-19 doesn’t go away by the end of Ramadan 2020.

Taraweeh prayer can be prayed at home if the mosques are you are closed due to coronavirus, and the same applies to the Eid ul Fitr prayer.

Saudi grand mufti answered a question while talking to a paper.

The month of Ramadan is starting next week. Saudi Arabia has suspended prayers at Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an Nabawi including all Mosques in Saudi Arabia to perform five daily prayers with people to stop the spread of the virus.

Furthermore, the Iftar service has also been shut down, which is one of the most prominent service during Ramadan where people from all around the world would come and break their fast in the holy mosque.
