For the first time, the name Muhammad is now the trending baby name in the US, steps into the top 10 baby names in the US for 2019, as per the latest data tracking firm report.
Previously we reported that the name Muhammad has topped the list of Baby names in the UK, citing Baby Center’s report. And now this name is also climed on the list of US baby names.
The baby center also claimed that the name Muhammad is showing a rapid increase in both the US and the UK as each year this name is climbing the top lists of baby names.
As per US private data research firm, the name Muhammad gained 29% popularity from 2018. As in girls, Aliyah and Layla are also in the top ten baby names in the US.
Muhammad first appeared in the top 100 US names back in 2013 and in 2019 it is now in the top 10 list.
