The most authentic dua for Breaking fast (in other words Opening Fast), that Muslims recite at the time of Iftar.

Muslims worldwide are required to abstain from food and drink from dawn to dusk for 30 days, In the Holy month of Ramadan, which occurs on the ninth month of the lunar-based Islamic calendar. According to the Gregorian calendar, Ramadan shifts 11 days earlier every year. So Muslims experience Ramadan in various seasons throughout their lives.

Fasting is also the willful refraining from drinking and eating. Fasting can also be referred to as the metabolic status of a person who has not eaten all night.

Dua for Breaking Fast (Opening Fast) at the time of Iftar

When Muslims open their fast, they recite a small dua or verse recommended by our Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH. It is mandatory to recite the dua after maghrib azan, and after reciting a Muslim, eat dates and continue to eat other dishes; that’s how Muslims open their fast.

The purpose of this act of fasting is to remind Muslims of the less fortunate poor people and be more grateful to Allah. Fasting during Ramadan is mandatory for all healthy adult Muslims except for Children who have not reached puberty, the elderly, physically or mentally incapable of fasting, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and travelers.

Fasting occurs daily from dawn to sunset in the month of Ramadan. In The suhur period, Muslims eat dinner, and after fajr, the fast is started, after sundown, Muslims break their fast with Iftar, which usually includes juices, dates, water, fruits, and many other things. It is highly recommended to hydrate in the period between Iftar to suhur, especially in summer.
