Sheikh Karim Hassouna, known for his work teaching the Quran at Masjid an-Nabawi (Prophet’s Mosque) in Madinah, has died.
Sheikh Hassouna spent his career teaching Quran recitation at Masjid an-Nabawi (Prophet’s Mosque), one of Islam’s two holiest sites. Among his students is Sheikh Waleed Al-Shamsan, who now serves as imam of Masjid al-Haram (Grand Mosque) in Makkah.
The funeral prayer for Sheikh Hassouna was held at Masjid an-Nabawi (Prophet’s Mosque) in Madinah.
