Islamophobia In China

The East Turkistan National Movement (ETNM), a U.S.-based organization advocating for the rights of Uyghur Muslims in Xinjiang, has issued a plea to the international community, human rights organizations, and activists to take action against the Chinese government’s actions in the region.

The Grand Mosque of Shadian, once known for its beautiful Arabic features, has had its domes removed and minarets transformed into pagoda towers.

A recent Chinese campaign in China aims at destroying Mosques and replacing them with Pagodas.

China is closing hundreds of mosques in Ningxia and Gansu.
