The digital Nusuk wallet launched in Saudi Arabia will make the management of finance efficient for the pilgrims.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (MoHU), in partnership with the Saudi National Bank (SNB AlAhli), has introduced the Nusuk Wallet, the world’s first international digital wallet specifically designed to serve Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.

This innovative digital solution allows pilgrims to manage their money and expenses securely and efficiently.

How To Access Nusuk Wallet?

  1. Create your account on Nusuk’s official website.
  2. Upload verified documents.
  3. Complete application.
  4. Top up your e-wallet.

The Nusuk Wallet leverages SNB AlAhli’s banking infrastructure through its NEO brand, utilizing the latest technologies and encryption methods to ensure the highest standards of security for financial transactions.

The wallet integrates advanced features such as artificial intelligence, encryption, biometric identity verification, API integration, and SDK, making it a comprehensive financial tool for pilgrims.

Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, inaugurated the digital wallet during a ceremony attended by various officials.

Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Maiman, Director of Digital Experience at MoHU, highlighted the significance of this launch, stating, “With the launch of the digital wallet, we have achieved six significant milestones both locally and internationally.

It is the world’s first digital wallet and international bank card specifically designed for Hajj pilgrims and Umrah performers, enabling them to manage their finances during their stay for performing rituals.

This move brings us closer to realizing our goal of developing a comprehensive Super-app that meets all the needs of pilgrims.”

Al-Maiman emphasized the innovative nature of the Nusuk Wallet, which combines modern technology with user needs.

He noted, “The wallet combines modern technology with user needs, integrating advanced features such as AI, encryption, and biometric identity verification, alongside cutting-edge technologies like API and integrated SDK.

It is also the world’s first open loop digital wallet embedded within an application, designed to enable Hajj pilgrims and Umrah performers to manage their money effectively.”

Dr. Saleh bin Ibrahim Al-Furaih, CEO of SNB AlAhli’s Digital Ventures and Payments, confirmed that the Nusuk Wallet is fully compliant with the instructions of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), ensuring the highest standards of financial security and regulatory adherence.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah reiterated its commitment to enhancing the experience of the guests of God through innovative solutions. The ministry encourages private sector entities to submit their proposals for further enriching the pilgrimage experience via email at nusukbusiness@haj.gov.sa.

This groundbreaking digital initiative marks a significant leap in the field of technical services for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, providing them with a secure, efficient, and modern way to manage their finances during their spiritual journey.
