Irish parliament has passed a note of the “de facto annexation of Palestine” by Israeli authorities, which allows Ireland to expel the Israeli ambassador and impose sanctions against Israel.
The first country in Europe to condemn the Israeli acts
Sinn Fein party passed this parliamentary motion on Wednesday. Ireland has been the first European country to take action against Israeli illegal activities.
Sinn Fein’s leader Mary Lou MacDonald said that they are standing with the people of Palestine and will always take actions against the illegal activities of Israeli authorities.
Palestinian ambassador to Ireland, Jilan Wahba Abdalmajid, said that the motion is the great support for Palestinians at this hour.
John Brady, Sinn Fein’s spokesperson for foreign affairs, promoted the notion and urged more European countries to join hands.

About 254 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli authorities, including 66 children, and more than 2,000 were injured in the rockets and firings. Although, in Israel, only 12 people were killed.
