Automated Vehicle Monitoring Launched for Safe Hajj 2024 Transportation

Saudi Arabia’s Transport General Authority has introduced its first automated monitoring vehicle, designed to ensure compliance with transportation regulations in Makkah, Madinah, and other holy sites during this year’s Hajj season.

Equipped with mobile surveillance cameras, the automated vehicle achieves up to 99% accuracy in identifying and providing data on various types of vehicles, such as buses, trucks, and taxis. This technology aims to ensure safe transportation for pilgrims during the Hajj season.

This initiative enhances regulatory compliance and improves the efficiency of monitoring operations, ensuring safer and more organized transportation for pilgrims.
