MAKKAH: An armed man carrying knife arrested at Masjid al-Haram (Grand Mosque) after shouting terrorist slogans inside the mosque.
After Asr prayers on Tuesday, a man carrying a knife was arrested from the first floor of Masjid al-Haram after chanting terrorist slogans, Saudi Press Agency confirmed.
Makkah police spokes person said that man is arrested and the legal procedings will start against him.
There are no injuries reported.

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the holy mosques, Dr. Sheikh Abdul Rehman Al Sudais said that the mosque is not for chanting racist extremist slogans, and is completely against Islam.
He further aded that the Masjid al Haram and Masjid an Nabawi are for the worshipping, Hajj, Umrah and Tawaf, not for chanting slogans.

Why do buy into these Western propagation of Muslims as terrorists?
Is terrorism exclusive to Muslims.
I just saw another post of a person in the West damaging a Masjid. They didn't call him a terrorist. Neither did they call the several attacks against Muslims, using deadly violence as terrorist attacks.
It was only the PM of New Zealand that had the presence of mind, and fairness to own up to the terrorist attack in her country.
The man with the knife could be suffering mental health problems, as a result of the situation among the ummah.
I'd have thought that the way to go was to determine his state of mind first before rushing to judgement and giving the enemies of Islam ammunition for their fight.
