ISLAMABAD: World-renowned speaker and religious preacher Maulana Tariq Jameel was awarded the Presidential Pride of Performance on Pakistan Day.
The award has been given to him on his speeches that preached peace and harmony. And his hard work for Islam.
According to details, President Dr. Arif Alvi conferred the Presidential Medal of Excellence on Maulana Tariq Jameel for his outstanding religious services as a religious scholar at a ceremony held at the Presidency for the distribution of Civil Awards as per tradition.
Maulana Tariq Jameel received the Presidential Pride of Performance Award
The Pride of Performance award was given to 184 personalities in Pakistan for their outstanding performance in various fields, among those 184 personalities, one personality was Maulana Tariq Jameel.
However, according to tradition, these 184 personalities are honored on the occasion of March 23, Pakistan Day. A function in this regard is being held at the Presidency in Islamabad.
Pride of Performance Award is awarded to the people who show great contributions in the field of arts, literature, medicine, sports, and science. It has been given once a year on the Pakistani independence day, 14th August. It was first awarded in 1958.
