Nabeez is a favourite drink of Prophet Mohammed (PBU). It was usually made for him with Ajwa dates which were also his favourite. In addition to dates and raisins it can also be made by soaking figs which have many medicinal properties. While soaking dates one has to be cautious that they are not soaked for a long time i.e. more than 12 hours as then it starts fermenting to make alcohol. In addition to other benefits it is also beneficial in controlling diabetes also, subject to proper medical advice.Above all if you take nabeeez you will get reward for following sunnah and no harm will come to you, Insha Allah.
