Masjid an-Nabawi (Prophet’s Mosque) in Madinah has a new shoe rack system. The shoe racks have been reorganised, and each rack now has a letter before its number, such as C-031. Colour is also part of the new labels.
What Has Changed on the Masjid an-Nabawi Shoe Racks
Two things are different now. First, every rack carries a letter in front of its number, so a rack is identified by its letter and number together, for example C-031.

Second, colour is used in the labels instead of black alone. In the photo, one rack reads C-031, with the code printed in red.
What Was Used Before
Previously, the racks were marked with numbers only.

The text was printed in black, with no letter prefix and no colour coding. Only a number marked each rack.
