Renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik left the stage during an event in Islamabad hosted by Pakistan Sweet Home, an organization for orphans, where he was the chief guest.
During the program, Dr. Naik delivered a speech and answered audience questions.
However, when Sweet Home Chairman Zamurrad Khan invited girls on stage to present shields at the end of the event, Dr. Naik stepped down, explaining that the girls were non-mahram to him, and he could not present the shields directly.
This moment, captured in a viral video, shows Dr. Naik later presenting shields to the boys instead. He also advised Khan against physically touching the girls, as they are non-mahram.
Dr. Naik arrived in Islamabad on September 30 for a brief visit before heading to Karachi for more events and public addresses.
