Two Muslim women were walking with men at the time when the attack took place. One of the women suffered a broken nose.
NYPD is currently looking for a suspect who attacked two Muslim women in Queens, New York.
The first attack took place near Lefferts Boulevard and Liberty Avenue at 9:15 pm on Sunday. NYPD confirmed the suspect passed anti-Muslim slurs at the 24-year-old girl, then punched her back, grabbed her, and tried to remove her hijab.
According to the police, the victims suffered injuries.
In the second attack, a 56-year-old woman was attacked the same way. The suspect punched the older Muslim woman multiple times, causing a fractured nose.
Police also shared the video of the suspect and also requested people to report the person shown in the video at 1-800-577-8477.
