On the 27th night of Ramadan 1446 AH, Masjid al-Haram in Makkah witnessed an all-time high attendance with 3.44 million worshipers gathering for prayers.

This record-breaking turnout surpasses previous years, including last year’s Hajj 2024 attendance of 1.83 million and the 3.16 million reached during the peak Hajj season in 2012.

Data collected by the mosque authorities provided detailed figures across various prayer times:

  1. Fajr: 703,123 worshipers
  2. Dhuhr: 614,307 worshipers
  3. Asr: 643,912 worshipers
  4. Maghrib: 740,129 worshipers
  5. Isha/Taraweeh: 740,129 worshipers

In addition to these impressive numbers, the management reported that the total number of beneficiaries of the cart service reached 27,756. Detailed entry counts from the main gates were also recorded:

  • Gate (1) King Abdulaziz: 282,433 pilgrims
  • Gate (17) Al-Salam: 33,211 pilgrims
  • Gate (33) Al-Hudaybiyah: 107,810 pilgrims
  • Gate (40) Umrah: 149,176 pilgrims
  • Gate (79) King Fahd: 199,746 pilgrims

These figures bring the total number of pilgrims entering through the main gates to 800,132.

Officials used advanced sensor technology and crowd management systems to monitor and manage the flow of worshipers throughout the night, ensuring that safety and order were maintained.

As the final days of Ramadan continue, the Grand Mosque remains a central focus for Muslims worldwide, providing a space for collective worship, reflection, and the pursuit of divine mercy.
