Hajj and Umrah Ministry Terminates Travel Company Licenses Over Inadequate Pilgrim Services

Licenses of some Umrah Companies were canceled by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for failing to provide proper Umrah Services.

MAKKAH – The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has canceled the licenses of the companies that have failed to provide high-quality pilgrimage services and have referred them for further investigation and penalties.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah which is responsible for regulating and monitoring the services and facilities for Hajj and Umrah Pilgrims to provide the pilgrims with a unique experience has terminated the license of several Umrah companies.

The companies names whose licenses have been revoked are not revealed as of yet however reports state that the termination was due to the failure of these companies to provide adequate quality services to the pilgrims.

The ministry has monitored and assessed the performance of Umrah service providers, pledging strict measures against any violations. 

This decision by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah was confirmed on their official X account and aims to emphasize the importance of adhering to established standards.

The ministry has called on Umrah service providers to follow regulations diligently. Providers are encouraged to continually enhance their services and facilities to meet the expectations and needs of pilgrims and provide them with a comfortable and satisfactory journey.

Recognizing the significance of pilgrim awareness, the ministry urges Umrah-goers to understand their rights and responsibilities.

Pilgrims are advised to promptly report any issues to the ministry or relevant authorities, as addressing and working on the concerns is a collaborative effort.

Additionally, pilgrims are reminded to be cautious when selecting Umrah service providers. The ministry stresses the importance of verifying the credibility and reputation of companies and promoting informed decision-making.

In conclusion, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has taken legal action against the companies and has referred them for further investigation. Added to this, the ministry has requested the pilgrims to be aware of their rights and responsibilities and remain cautious while choosing Umrah services to ensure a smooth Pilgrimage experience
