MAKKAH: Covid Vaccine Required to perform Umrah during Ramadan 2022, Haj and Umrah Ministry of Saudi Arabia confirmed.

While answering a query on Twitter about the topic, they clarified that everyone who wishes to perform Umrah during Ramadan must take permission from the Government before coming to the holy sites.

However, The ministry earlier this week vaccinated every staff including the Imams of the Kaaba have also been vaccinated.

On the other hand, Ministries have banned public gatherings, Iftar and Aitikaaf have also been suspended during Ramadan 2021. And the authorities are making sure that everything is properly sanitized and the worshippers take all the precautionary measures.

The Haj and Umrah Ministry of Saudi Arabia has also confirmed that after Ramadan Coronavirus vaccine will be mandatory for Umrah and Hajj pilgrims, without it, no one would be able to perform it.

Islamic scholars, Inluding Imams of Kaaba has told the nation that getting Coronavirus vaccine will not break Fast during Ramadan.
