Pilgrims can book electric carts for Tawaf and Sai at Masjid al-Haram through the Nusuk app, a service aimed at older visitors and people who struggle to walk.
The Nusuk app lets users book an electric cart to perform Tawaf and Sai at Masjid al-Haram (Grand Mosque) in Makkah, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said on 25 October 2026, corresponding to 14 Jumada al-Awwal 1448 AH.
The service gives pilgrims another way to move around during their rituals. It is aimed mainly at elderly worshippers and anyone who finds walking difficult.
The cart service works alongside the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque. The authority provides electric carts, looks after the people who use them, and helps them get around while performing their rituals.
It is also part of a wider push to bring digital solutions to Umrah pilgrims and visitors. The aim is to make services easier to find and use, and to offer options that suit different groups of worshippers.
