Ministry of Haj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia has announced that Umrah Season 2024/1445 will end on the 15th of Shawwal 1445 as the administration will prepare the holy sites for Hajj. Pilgrims are advised to plan their upcoming Umrah journey accordingly.
As per the information received from the Islamic Information correspondent, Pilgrims can perform Umrah until the 7th of Dhul Hijjah.
Ending the Umrah season allows the administration to transition from Umrah to Hajj effectively to ensure better services for the guests of Allah.
The services include logistics planning, implementation of health and safety protocols, accommodation for the Hajj pilgrims, and infrastructure enhancements.
