The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Two Holy Mosques announced the course on 23 Muharram 1448H (July 8, 2026), as part of its ongoing scholarly programs at Masjid an-Nabawi (Prophet’s Mosque).

The course is titled “Creedal and Jurisprudential Foundations” (التأسيس العقدي والفقهي). It includes lessons on Aqeedah, Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh, and Fiqhi Qawaid, along with explanations of classical Islamic texts. A group of senior scholars will teach the sessions.

Visitors who are unsure where to go can head to the First Saudi Expansion area between the two pillars, since it hosts the majority of lessons. Mosque staff or security can also direct attendees by asking for “the scholarly lessons” or “the foundations course.”
