In a strange display to show communical brotherhood when India is having big protests on the new citizenship law, a 100 years old mosque located in Kerala hosted a Hindu wedding.
The mosque itself stepped foroword to host the wedding after bride’s mother had to go through financial crisis.
Anju Ashok Kumar (Bride) and Sarath Sasi (Groom) said that their wedding a mosque is a beautiful show of brotherhood in India.
As per a media report, Cheravally Muslim Jamaat Committee’s Secretary Nujumudeen Alummoottil said that the bride (Anju Ashok Kumar) is the first woman in the history of mosque who entered in mosque.
The mosque also gave 10 gold sovereign as well as INR. 100,000 as a wedding gift alongside a TV and fridge. All the wedding expenses were met by the mosque committe.
Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala tweeted that this incident is an example of Unity.
