In the world of technology, nobody believes in the evil eye or you can say, the Bad Eye. So, firstly you’ll think that what is actually the evil eye?
“Evil eye is a curse” Evil eye is not just about the jealousy of somebody or related to any human. In reality Evil eye has the vast concept of the evil eye through the moon, the Evil Eye through Sun or maybe through 3rd creation (Spirits).
Now, what is the concept of the Evil Eye in Islam?
Islam said that Evil-eye exists in this world. But there is a difference between Evil-Eye and Black Magic. The evil eye is something like jealousy of someone towards you. When you gain happiness in your life and tell people about it then there are some people who can’t achieve as much as you, they start hating you and then that hate becomes the reason for the evil eye on you. But in the case of Magic or you can say Black Magic they intentionally change this hate to some bad acts to destroy your happiness. And this is called the weakness of Faith.
Quran describes beautifully that the Evil-eye exist and have an influence on human;
The Arabic word al-‘ayn (evil-eye) refers to when a person harms another person with his eye. It starts when the person likes a thing, then his evil feelings affect it, then it becomes his jealousy. Allah (SWT) ordered his last Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to seek refuge with him from this bad eye and bad things, as he stated;
According to all this, it is clear that the evil eye exists That’s why Allah described it in the Quran and also Surat Falak and Surat al-Nas are the clearest examples of describing the evil eye.
Effects of evil-eye on Humans
- Weakness in the body.
- Lack of appetite.
- Your face might turn yellow or change color.
- An emotional feeling of crying without a purpose.
- The chest tightens and closes up.
- Laziness, lack of strength, and motivation to work.
- The feeling of nausea and dizziness.
- Constant headaches or migraines.
- Lack of motivation to meet friends and loved ones.
- Distortion in business or work.
Prevention and Cure of Evil-Eye:
The one and only source to Cure the evil eye is to seek Refuge from Allah. We have the greatest example when our Prophet suffered from Black Magic or evil eye, he just seeks Refuge from Allah and recited Surat Al-Nas excessively.
