SIGNIFICANCE OF AYAT UL KURSI
The significance of the Ayat Al-Kursi can be referred to from these speech marks of prominent holy personalities. Ali (R.A) said,
Ibn Masood (R.A) stated;
Ibn Masood (R.A) also cited that no space in the sky or on the earth is lordlier than Ayatul Kursi.
It is stated from Askee Baqri that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) came to the home of the Muhajireen when one individual inquired,
In the Quran Kareem which is the loftiest Ayat?
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) repeated,
Ayat ul Kursi.
AYATUL KURSI BENEFITS
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
Ali (R.A) was expressed by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH),
For those of our beloved ones who have passed away, you can recite the Ayatul Kursi and give the recitation as Hadiyah to them, this thing will give them Light (Noor) in their grave.
If you’re going out and you recite it once, Almighty Allah sends a group of Angels to protect you from all kinds of Evil that comes your way. If you recite it twice, Allah sends two groups of Angels to protect you. If you recite it Thrice, then Allah tells Angels not to worry as Allah, himself protects that person.
When you are Home Alone, the recitation of Ayat Ul Kursi protects your house as well as keeps your heart calm, and lets your fear go away.
This is the reason why every single Muslim should memorize it and recite it as much as one can. Ayat Ul Kursi is one of the blessings of Allah that can help us stay away from all kinds of Evil in this world.
