Saudi authorities have announced that over 5.5 million iftar meals will be served at the Grand Mosque during Ramadan 2025.

In addition to the iftar meals, the authorities have arranged for 20,000 containers of Zamzam water to be available, guaranteeing that every pilgrim has access to this sacred drink. 33,000 fresh prayer rugs have been laid out across the expansive courtyards of the mosque, providing ample space for long hours of prayer and reflection.

Meals will be prepared under strict hygiene standards and distributed at designated areas within the Grand Mosque.

Organizers have also deployed 10,000 handcarts and 400 electric golf carts.

This initiative, part of a broader effort to enhance the pilgrimage experience, ensures that visitors can break their fasts with ease and focus on their spiritual journey.
