Famed TikTok creator Khaby Lame recently performed the Umrah pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, sharing a touching message with his followers on Instagram from the sacred site of the Holy Kaaba.
Expressing gratitude, Khaby wrote, “I just want to say thank you to God. God has given me everything and, most importantly, the strength to continue and believe in my dreams.”
Talking about his life journey, the 22-year-old social media sensation, Khaby, added on Saturday, “I’ve faced many struggles in life, and when everything seemed impossible, my faith kept me standing.”
In a prior interview with an Italian media outlet, Khaby affirmed his beliefs, saying, “Yes, I am Muslim, a practising Muslim. I don’t know what else to say.”
Born in Senegal, Khaby moved to Italy at the age of one. At 14, he attended a Quranic school in Dakar, Senegal, where he dedicated himself to studying and memorizing the Quran, successfully committing the entire holy book to memory.
Khaby’s rise to fame began in 2022, when he became the most-followed content creator on TikTok, surpassing 143.2 million followers.
