8000 Speakers Installed in Masjid al-Haram

Sound balancing is maintained in Mataf and around 120 engineers are hired to ensure the smooth operation of 800 speakers in Masjid al-Haram.

The sound system in the Masjid-al-Haram is one of the largest in the world.

The world’s largest mosque, Masjid-al-Haram, has introduced a new standard of sound system.

The system specializes in delivering crystal clear audio and includes 8000 speakers.

The speakers are placed in the following areas:

  • Inside the Mosque
  • Courtyard
  • Expansion Areas
  • Surrounding Roads

To make the system operation smooth, a team of 120 engineers has been hired. The team of technicians is also on a permanent watch.

The Authorities ensure that the speakers are monitored and checked before each prayer.

Moreover, the authorities have installed backup microphones in the holy place too. These backups will instantly take over in case of any technical issues or failure.

Designed to deliver a clear voice, the sound balance is maintained carefully within the Mataf. The precious sound system ensures a clear Voice of Adhan and prayers. Pilgrims can hear the recitation and adhan clearly no matter where they are.

The sound system has caught widespread attention. This system is known to be one of the largest kinds in the world. With speakers distributed everywhere, from the mosque to the streets, this sound system is meticulously monitored.

The government of the Saudi Kingdom and the authorities responsible have invested a huge amount into this system. An expert audio management team has been recruited to operate and fine-tune the voice at the Holy Mosque of Makkah.
