MAKKAH: The Haj and Umrah Ministry of Saudi Arabia has announced that the Coronavirus vaccine is compulsory for every visitor of twin holy mosques.

Haj and Umrah Ministry of Saudi Arabia further confirmed that even if you’re coming to worship, you would still need Coronavirus vaccine shots.

Haj and Umrah Ministry also confirmed that the people who have gotten coronavirus vaccine must get the permit from Etmarna App, as direct entries will not be allowed.

This is to be notified that the worshippers and the umrah pilgrims must need to complete 14 days of quarantine after getting vaccinated.

Rawdah will be only accessible to people with Vaccine

Praying in Rawdah as well as visiting the Grave of Prophet Muhammad PBUH and the companions will only be allowed to those who have had the coronavirus vaccine.
