Hairstyle, usually taken as granted as we think is not part of Islam, but Hairstyle is a part of Islam and this is why this hairstyle is HARAM!
Table of Contents
We recently talked about the major Haram things in Islam as well as the destructive things identified by our Muhammad Prophet (PBUH).
If your haircut matches the guys in these pictures then it is surely not a good sign as it is HARAM! Men and ladies alike have enjoyed the demonstration of shaving some portion of the head and leaving some portion of it rough-looking to style.
As per Muhammad’s (PBUH) ruling, this act is forbidden in Islam. It is Narrated by Al-Bukhaari (5921) and Muslim (2120), that Muhammad Prophet (PBUH) Prohibited Al-Qaza.
What is Al-Qaza Haistyle?
It means shaving the side of your head while leaving the middle (top) of your head.

1. Shaving the parts of your hair and leaving the middle untouched

2. Shaving the back and leaving the front

3. This trend is very common in the media industry

4. It is also endorsed by Hollywood actors

5. and the Music industry

6. Mostly Footballers

7. Also Adapted by the Muslim Figures around the world

Why is it haraam what’s the reason
Please read the article.
Brother, whatabout trimming? I mean if the side and back hair are trimmed by a trimming machine and not shaved while having a slight cutting of the top hair, is it also haram?
No it’s not. Only shaving the head is haram from the sides only.
Aslam alykum ,
What If I i shave a little on the sides and I shave a little bit less on the top ?
Worry about the big things like treating people justly, honoring your parents, treating people civilly, respecting others (and their beliefs), bettering yourself, never stop educating yourself, seek reasonableness (the middle road), serving humanity, helping the poor. Stop living in minutiae that is frankly so remote to the big things as to be irrelevant. And you can roll your pants back down, too.
Exactly.
SubhanAllah brother – inshAllah you are on the right path! I believe like you – THE BIG THINGS!!
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. Nice comment brother. Whatever you have written is absolutely correct. But that comes under the purview of the rights of the fellow human beings or in arabic called Haqooq Al Ibad. But here the top is different. Someone has put a question to the intellectuals and they have replied giving references of the Hadees from the authentic books of Bukhari and Muslim. So your argument is somewhat out of place. Our prophet May Allah’s Peace and blessing be upon him has guided us on every big and small matter. I do not want to enter into an argument as my knowledge of Islam is limited.
Mash’Allah sister, it’s very true that islamic knowledge is based mostly on evidence of the Quran and hadeeths of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Assalamu alaika
Assalam o Alaikum. Mr. Imran Nasrullah, there are a number of things you have overlooked as suggested by your comment. Firstly, what you did mention was to “never stop educating ourselves” and this is exactly what this article helps us achieve. The fact that you cant be the closest to sirat-e-mustaqeem does not mean that you do not even have knowledge of the perfect standard. Secondly, A believer can do all that he finds ease in to be near to his lord, that can be wearing a topi, or performing miswak or even the right hairstyle. As all these things definitely serve sawab but also cleanse the heart, slowly but surely moving the believer towards the more rewarding acts of for example raising your voice for those who have been wronged, or devoting your own time, effort, and wealth to help fellow humans. Also, you said seek reasonableness, my dear brother, our religion is in not a single way burdening on us Muslims. your five daily prayers are already a pretty awesome bargain that our Prophet Muhammad(P.B.U.H) did when Allah(S.W.T) made 50 daily prayers mandatory. Yes in the time we live in, and the practices we are used to making it seem so difficult, but here is an example which I hope will help you; If you wanted a bottle of water and there was a 2 year old sitting in front of you who you know would find it very difficult to do so, would you still ask the child to bring you the bottle? No, obviously you won’t. So think, when you or us with our limited knowledge and understanding won’t burdanise the kid, why would Our Lord, The All-Knowing, burdanise us? Finally, yes find the middle road, but remember to keep traveling towards the right path. You dont necessarily need to blend with the world because according to the mufhoom of a hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, a time will come when the world will be so corrupt that the Prophet advised the believers to stay inside their homes.
Everything is to be worried about all together. Either small and major sin. I wouldn’t like to be burried with such a haircut so do you. So, let’s accept the fact. Especially, if you are given a prove from the Qur’an or hadîth. Thanks
A3udubillah.. What your saying is so limit.. He is telling you something simple. Al qaza is haram.. In other words this thing dont serves you well doesnt it lol. You dont get to pick and choose. Talking about serving the poor or educating yourself. What does this topic do? Educating you. Worst thing you can say is something like that. When somebody tells you to fear Allah and obey his messenger and he is giving you facts you dont go around.
What do you mean by the big things? The biggest thing is Salah. Also, nothing that Allah is displeased with is a small matter. Your argument is what some of our Ummah use to mislead others, and this is something that will lead to the humiliation of those in the hereafter (Surah Luqman, verse 6).
the prophet peace be upon him saw a boy with a partially shaved head. he told the boy to shave all of it or keep all of it. if the prophet peace be upon him tells people not to take this hairstyle then we can advise each other as well.
Even if a sin is considered small compared to other bigger sins you should worry about all sins big or small. Allah shows us a lesson that luqman taught to his son in surat luqman ayat 16: “يَـٰبُنَىَّ إِنَّهَآ إِن تَكُ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍۢ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍۢ فَتَكُن فِى صَخْرَةٍ أَوْ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ أَوْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ يَأْتِ بِهَا ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَطِيفٌ خَبِيرٌۭ ١٦” English translation: “˹Luqmân added,˺ “O my dear son! ˹Even˺ if a deed were the weight of a mustard seed—be it ˹hidden˺ in a rock or in the heavens or the earth—Allah will bring it forth. Surely Allah is Most Subtle, All-Aware.”
If we fuss too much about how people eat, dress, and groom, we lose sight of the important things, which are ethics and how we treat others.
Inshallah
