Saudi Arabia allows 60000 pilgrims to perform Hajj 2021

60.000 people from around the world have been granted permit to perform hajj by Saudi Arabia.

   

According to Hajj 1942 Information provided by The Ministry Of Health, This year, Saudi Arabia already scheduled only 60,000 Hujaj in total to perform hajj 2021, which includes local and foreign pilgrims. They also stated that those performing Hajj MUST be between the age of 18 – 60 years of age and also MUST be in a good state of health.

Those performing Hajj also required proof that they were not in hospital for any illness within the past 6 months before travel for Hajj.

The Saudi health ministry also mentions the vaccine. The pilgrims must have had both doses of vaccine with a Vaccination card provided by the individual countries Health Organisation / Hospital / Ministry, and this also required proof. The vaccine taken MUST be on the approved list that the Ministry of Health recognizes within Saudi Arabia.

Not only they set rules about what vaccines to use, but they also have rules about when the vaccine should be taken as well. The first dose of the vaccine MUST have been taken by the 1st Shawaal 1442, which we all know this day has passed and was the day of the Eid Ul Fitr 1442. And the second dose of the vaccine MUST be taken by the 14th day before arriving within Saudi Arabia.

As soon as the foreign pilgrims classed arrive in Saudi Arabia, they are obliged to do quarantine for 3 days. The local government enforces strict rules to protect pilgrims, such as Social Distancing, wearing a mask, and other Precautionary Measures.

According to the information, the above rules for the 2021 Hajj are the main conditions that the Saudi Ministry of Health briefly provided in a 9-page document released on May 22, 2021.
