MAKKAH: Arabic media reported that a Syrian pilgrim who had ridden his motorbike from Germany to Mecca had passed away

After 73 days of travel, 53-year-old Ghazi Jassim Shehadeh, a Syrian from Homs who lived in Germany, arrived at the Grand Mosque of Mecca.

Shehadeh shared his experiences and difficulties with his followers while documenting his journey on social media.

Wish To Perform Umrah

Shehadeh had reportedly hoped to finish his journey to Mecca in order to demonstrate his devotion to his religion.

Buried in Makkah

Shehadeh died on the way to the holy mosque in Mecca. He was prayed for at the large mosque, after which he was laid to rest in Mecca.

Shehadeh’s journey has garnered a great deal of interest and admiration, and many people have expressed their sorrow over his passing.
