The General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram) and the Prophet’s Mosque (Masjid an-Nabawi) have allocated spaces for scholars to answer Islamic questions (fatwas) in the Grand Mosque.
75 scholars will be available in the 10 private cabins and seven buildings in the courtyard of Masjid-al-Haram.
These scholars will be responsible for resolving questions regarding fatwas and providing guidance on various religious issues. They exist to ensure that visitors receive genuine and timely help regarding matters related to Islam.
This initiative reflects the Saudi authorities’ commitment to improving the spiritual experience of worshipers at Islam’s holy sites.
In addition, the authorities, aware of the importance of easy access, have created special regulations for offices that deal with telephone calls. Travelers and pilgrims can get guidance and support at toll-free numbers 8001222400 or 8001222100.
The purpose of this initiative is to provide an easy and effective way for these same people to seek religious guidance, especially when there is direct access to scholars.
With its continuous efforts to improve services and accessibility, The General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque reaffirms its role as an important authority for the promotion of religion and protection of the sanctity of the holy places of Islam.
