Qatar Airways Launches Check-In for Umrah Pilgrims at Mecca Clock Royal Tower

Qatar Airways has unveiled an innovative off-airport check-in service in Mecca, designed to offer Hajj and Umrah passengers a seamless and hassle-free travel experience.

Launched in partnership with Saudi Ground Services (SGS), the service allows passengers to complete check-in formalities, receive their boarding passes, and have their baggage collected directly from the city, ensuring a smooth journey to the airport.

Off-Airport Check-In Location in Makkah

• The off-airport check-in service is available at the Mecca Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel, conveniently located at the hotel entrance on Level 2, accessible from the ring road.

Passengers using the off-airport check-in service will enjoy an expedited departure process, with their baggage securely transported to the airport and minimal waiting at check-in counters.

This service is part of Qatar Airways’ continuous efforts to enhance convenience and comfort for Hajj and Umrah travellers, underscoring the airline’s commitment to superior, innovative travel solutions.

As Qatar Airways continues to set industry benchmarks and connect travelers with 11 cities across the Kingdom through over 120 weekly flights – including 35 weekly flights to Jeddah – the new off-airport check-in service is poised to further elevate the travel experience for millions of pilgrims during this sacred season.
