A Pakistani pilgrim was performing Umrah when he got a heart attack. The prompt response from the medical team of Makkah saved his life.

The 50-year-old Pakistani pilgrim felt chest pains while performing Umrah in the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram). Upon informing the workers around, he was then transported to Al-Haram Emergency Hospital, which is located inside the Grand Mosque of Makkah. 

After that, he was transferred to the King Abdullah Medical City, where the doctor took just 40 minutes to save his life. In King Abdullah Medical City, doctors also performed a catheterization of the heart arteries and stents were placed in the pilgrim’s heart.

According to the latest updates, the pilgrim was released from the hospital in good health.
