GAZA – Israeli airstrikes in Gaza have been intensified killing around 9,000 civilians. The death toll in Gaza in the last few days has exceeded the death toll of the Srebrenica genocide which was marked as a horrific act by the international community that took place in July 1995.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza has reported 4100 confirmed deaths with over 13000 suffering injuries along with a figure of 1000 missing individuals trapped under rubble in Palestine as per the latest figures due to a devastating Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It was also stated that 16 Palestinian Christians also lost their lives during an Israeli attack on the Green Orthodox Church.
Srebrenica genocide
The death in Palestine in the past ten days has exceeded the death toll of the Srebrenica genocide that took place in July 1995 as Ashraf Qudra, the Minister of Health in Gaza. This genocide was marked as the most horrendous mass murder since World War II when 8000 Bosinak Muslims were brutally murdered by Bosnian Serb forces.
This horrific act was carried out under commander Ratko Mladic of the Bosnian Serb Army Of Republika Srpska (VRS) and a paramilitary group named Scorpions.
This was however recorded by a massacre and genocide by the United Nations Courts and the International communities itself.
In the past few days, the Israeli airstrikes have gained even more intensity. The airstrikes after targeting the residential buildings have started to target hospitals, mosques, schools, and churches.
The (UNRWA) – United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees has alerted the population that the area is now running out of mandatory fuel required to operate the health facilities, sanitation, water, and food for the displaced civilians.
Moreover, as per the UN Humanitarian Affairs Coordination Office (OCHA), 206 schools have been damaged and 62% of fatalities reported are women and small children in Gaza.
The United Nations Human Rights Office stated that the order of Israeli authorities to evacuate 1.1 civilians from eastern and northern Gaza is indeed a forcible transfer and a breach of international law.
Several ceasefire and political resolution calls from the international community along with the diplomatic efforts of Qatar, Turkey, Egypt, and Norway have gone in vain as Israeli airstrikes continue to hit the city.
Several violations of international laws have been documented by the human rights organization. This includes hate speech and arrests without genuine reasons.
As per the United Nations, at least 100 aid trucks are required in Gaza daily. However, only a few trucks have managed to enter the city from Egypt via the Rafah border. The UN has also appealed to increase support for relief operations in light of the intensified situation in Gaza.
