Parliament House will host Eid Milan in New Zealand.
Eid ul-Fitr marks the start of the Month of Shawwal. On account of Eid ul-Fitr New Zealand has hosted a celebration.

- DATE: The date for the event is 29th April 2024, Monday.
- VENUE: It will take place in the Wellington Parliament House at Banquet Hall.
- TIME: The timings are from 6:15 pm to 7:30 pm.
Following the moon sighting Eid ul-Fitr 2024 was celebrated on 11th April 2024. The Hilal Committee of the Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand (FIANZ) is responsible for moon sighting.
After the moon was sighted, Prime Minister Christopher Luxon sent a greeting. The ACT party leader David Seymour also did the same. The Muslim community of New Zealand is diverse with roots in South Asia.
The Muslim community of New Zealand has set up mosques and Islamic centers. Eid prayers are offered in the mosques of New Zealand too.
The Eid Milan is building up excitement in New Zealand.
