Masjid An Nabawi’s Guest Imam For Taraweeh, Has Passed Away

MADINAH – It was reported today that Sheikh Muhammad bin Khalil Al-Qari, the former Imam of Masjid e Nabawi, passed away on Monday.

There had been a long period of ill health for Sheikh Muhammad bin Khalil Al-Qari, a Saudi national of Kashmiri descent.

In 2019, Sheikh was appointed the Imam of the Masjid e Nabwi after being the mosque’s former Imam.

At Masjid Nabawi in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir, there will be a funeral prayer for Sheikh Muhammad Bin Khalil Al-Qari, originally from Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir.

As well as being a well-known reciter in Saudi Arabia, his father, Sheikh Khalil Al-Qari, was also a student of many Imams of Haramain.
