Muzaffarnagar – Indian authorities are set to take against a primary school teacher in India that ordered students to slap a Muslim classmate one by one, the video went viral on the internet.
Human Rights Groups say that violence and hate crimes against Muslims living in India rose to a record high after Narendra Modi took the Prime Minister’s office in 2014.
When students hit the boy lightly, the teacher urged them to hit harder. The boy was seen crying in the video.
As his face turned red, she urged the other Hindu students to hit him on the waist.

Police will take action against the teacher, says Police Superintendent Satyanarayan Prajapat.
“I am not ashamed”, said the Hindu teacher, Tripti Tyagi.
Victom’s father filed a case against the teacher in the local police station in Muzaffarnagar district.
Opposition leader, Rahul Gandhi also condemned the incident and blamed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for fueling religious hatred.
