Morocco star Hakim Ziyech has reportedly donated his bonus to charity following his sensational performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

   

As the first African team to reach the semi-finals at the global showpiece in Qatar, the winger was pivotal to the success of the Atlas Lions’ campaign.

Les Blues, the North African team, lost to France 2-0 on Wednesday night, ending their dream of reaching the final of the World Cup.

According to Ziyech, who was first called up to the national team in 2015, all of his bonus money was donated to charities and members of his team’s staff.

According to journalist Khaled Beydoun, the 29-year-old has always donated money to charity, and he has just done so again. According to further reports, the former Ajax star stands to earn £262,000 from Morocco’s progress to the semi-finals of the World Cup and will donate all of the money to poor people in his native country.

According to Arabic Post via Complete Sports, the Chelsea star hires a private plane whenever he is called up to the squad of his country. In addition, he is said to have donated money to amateur football clubs and hospitals in Morocco.
