Saudi Arabia has launched an ambitious suite of projects to enhance the comfort, safety, and overall experience of Hajj pilgrims, with Kadana Company at the helm of these transformative initiatives.

The Deputy, Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, chaired the inaugural committee meeting, where authorities reviewed plans and preparations for Hajj 1446 AH. This meeting highlighted the government’s dedication to ensuring a smooth and dignified pilgrimage through comprehensive improvements across key sites.

In Mina, pedestrian paths covering 50,000 square meters have been shaded to provide relief from the intense heat. Similarly, Arafat now features shading and cooling systems spanning 60,000 square meters, ensuring pilgrims remain comfortable during their stay.

The Jabal Al Rahma area has been equipped with advanced canopies and cooling mist fans, covering 785 square meters, to help regulate temperatures and enhance the environment for visitors.

Kadana Company has also initiated afforestation projects targeting the planting of 10,000 trees across pilgrimage areas, offering additional shade and improving air quality.

Hydration facilities have been significantly upgraded, with 400 modernized water coolers installed to ensure pilgrims have constant access to clean drinking water.

A major heat stress mitigation project at Namira Mosque, covering 85,000 square meters, employs advanced cooling technologies to maintain comfortable temperatures within the mosque.

Rest areas spanning 28,000 square meters have been established along pilgrimage paths, providing essential respite for travelers.

To ensure rapid medical assistance, 86 emergency and first aid centers have been set up across key locations.

The Muzdalifah Holy Sites Path Project (Phase Two) has expanded accessibility and safety across its 170,000 square meter area.

Additionally, Kadana has prepared and rehabilitated 135 pressure tank sites in Mina to support essential services like water supply.

These initiatives reflect Saudi Arabia’s commitment to a safe, comfortable, and spiritually fulfilling Hajj. Kadana Company’s innovative solutions and meticulous planning have set new benchmarks for future pilgrimages.

As the Hajj season approaches, these measures are expected to significantly elevate the experience for millions of pilgrims visiting the holy sites, underscoring Kadana’s pivotal role in advancing pilgrim welfare.
