MAKKAH – As Hajj 2022 has successfully concluded, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the registration of Umrah Season 1444 from July 19, 2022.

Umrah was restricted due to the Hajj, but upon re-opening the registration of Umrah for the new season, the ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia announced a new set of restrictions.
Umrah Season 1444 Protocols
These are the protocols that everyone have to follow who wish to perform Umrah this season:
- Children only age 5 or above can perform Umrah. (Children below age 5 will be restricted)
- Ministry has started issuing Umrah Visas.
- The first batch of Umrah pilgrims will arrive on 1st Muharram.
- There is no need for a COVID-19 vaccine or PCR test to perform Umrah.
- If someone wishes to visit the Rawdah (Chamber of Prophet Muhammad PBUH), they can apply for it on the Eatmarna app.
- Those who have Tourist Visas can apply for permits by 19th Dhul Hijjah.
- To obtain Umrah visas, these are the verified companies.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has not yet confirmed the reason behind this restriction. We have reached out to the ministry, but we haven’t got any answer.
