Authorities have announced that 4000 people belonging to 120 different nationalities are performing Itikaf at Masjid an Nabawi during Ramadan 2025.
The Itikaf spaces at Masjid an Nabawi have been carefully designated to cater to both male and female pilgrims.
The men’s section is located on the eastern roof of the Prophet’s Mosque, adjacent to entrance Gate 27, offering an elevated area with clear views of the mosque’s interior. For women, a separate section has been allocated on the northeastern side near Gate 24, ensuring privacy and comfort during their period of seclusion.
